National corruption getting worse

The latest review by Ernest & Young among business executives in this country have contracted Malaysian outbreak of widespread corruption and growing. This survey is confirmed by the Auditor-General's Report 2012 revealed wasteful practices and fraud costing billions of dollars in government agencies.

Estimated RM 6.5 billion in state money was involved in 64 cases of dubious dealings. Such as purchase of 20 wall clocks by the Information Department for RM 3,810 per unit compared RM 100 market price and the purchase of three units of A4-sized scanner at a cost of RM 14,670 per unit compared with the market price of RM 200.

Ernst & Young reveals more of the three company executives that have been surveyed their salary felt that corruption is not just rampant but grew up in. It seems Malaysia is considered the second most corrupt country in the region after Indonesia.

So how will government come out with their solution? By increasing petrol or sugar price?
