Survey: Najib's popularity declined

The latest Merdeka Centre survey found that rating BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak declined 3 percent over last vote before. Is it means that Malaysian will make a change in GE13?

The survey among voters in the peninsula between April 28 to May 2 that also put PR ahead of BN in terms of choice of the party to form the government.

Najib's popularity declined slightly from 64 percent of survey conducted in March, to 61 percent now - a few days before the election day on Sunday.

Merdeka Centre said the figures reflect a decline due to the "feel good" that previously generated during large-scale distribution of 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) and also form other cash donations.

Concerns over the economy topped the list of issues voters want to talk about, which is at 25 percent.
